VA REPORTING
The Virtual Asset Service Providers Act 2024 (VASP Act) is established in response to Seychelles increased exposure to virtual asset products and virtual asset service providers. The Act provides for the introduction of a legislative framework to regulate virtual assets and virtual asset service providers. It introduces a licensing regime for specific virtual asset products and virtual asset service providers and prohibits their promotion or provision without the requisite authorization.
The Seychelles Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) having a key role to play in safeguarding the integrity of all financial sectors including the virtual asset sector takes this opportunity to guide the virtual asset sector on its obligations to the FIU. It is important to note that the virtual asset service providers becomes a reporting entity under the AML/CFT Act 2020 as soon as the VASP Act comes into force.

2) Register With The FIU on the goAML Platform

3) Submission of SAR/STR Web Reports relating to Virtual Assets

4) Submission of Reports using XML Upload relating to virtual assets
Instead of manual submissions, development of an XML conversion tool can be used to create XML reports to submit batch transactions onto goAML. This will however involve some internal development. Download the following schema and schema documents below to get started.
5) Using the API to submit reports
VASPs can also use goAML's API in order to submit reports. See the materials attached below relating to the API.
